Stevenson Residence

The Stevenson Residence at 2093 Balsam was built using extremely energy-efficient SIPS construction. 

In addition to geothermal heating and cooling, the home also features a passive solar / thermal chimney design and a 4.9 kW self-ballast solar PV system.

Blue Valley Energy installed a WaterFurnace Envision water-to-air heat pump and a premium duct system designed to take advantage of the home’s natural thermal chimney design.  The HVAC system also features a heat recovery ventilation system integrated with the bath exhaust fans and duct system.
