Lindsey Solko, Operations Specialist

Lindsey brings an extensive background in marketing and logistics to Blue Valley Energy and currently helps run operations and dispatching, among other things.  Her professional attitude and organizational skills are critical for efficiently managing complex projects and resources while keeping a sense of humor.  She can often be found outside of work mountain biking with her husband Paul.  As an added bonus she occasionally brings her dog Mumble to work as our de facto office sidekick. 

Ben Pullen, Loop Installation Manager

Ben manages all aspects of the ground loop heat exchanger installation, including drilling, trenching, grouting, thermal fusion, and flushing and purging the loop itself. He has successfully installed vertical closed loops, horizontal loops, pond loops, and open loops, and his work ensures a trouble-free system for years to come. 

Marc Metz, New Construction Installation Manager

Mark has thirty years experience in HVAC field management, both residential and commercial.  His work includes acting as job site foreman, small project & residential bid estimates and design, field sales, and management and installation coordination.  Mark has recently been spending many of his weekends in Gunnison watching his son play football for Western State. 

Tom Bucher, Installation and Loop Specialist

Tom is one of the original members of the Blue Valley Energy team.  His work ethic and attitude are second-to-none, whether he’s installing a geothermal loop field manifold when it’s 5 degrees outside, or building a duct system for a custom home.  Tom usually spends his weekends hanging out with his wife and 9 beagles at his home in Simla, CO. 

Kent Martin, Lead Service Technician

Kent brings many years of experience to the team and specializes in analyzing and troubleshooting a variety of systems, including high-end hydronics systems, geothermal heat pumps, and commercial HVAC. 

Ann Szeligowsky, Financial Manager

Ann has provided accounting services to Blue Valley Energy, and formerly Valley Geothermal, for the past 6 years.  She has over 25 years of experience in the accounting industry, and her close attention to detail helps keep both suppliers and customers happy.
